Participating in Tour de Cure, please donate :)

Monday, February 26th, 2007

So I signed up for Tour de Cure finally, joining friends in the 25k portion if I can get the $150 in donations. I’ll be on the Woodman’s Bar & Grill team with a bunch of other people that frequent the bar, or of course run it. It’ll be a good time, so help me out and donate!

Where’s the blogging?

Tuesday, January 16th, 2007

So I haven’t blogged in FOREVER. I’m sure there’s tons of people just wondering what’s going on, by tons of people I mean 0 of course. I haven’t had anything interesting to say lately (or ever? snap!) but hopefully soon I’ll post some goodies, like awful pictures of my cat or something lame, or even my thoughts on my first experience with Zend Framework. Also I think the adventures of Freerange are distracting too specially now that The Dark Portal is open.

Working out at Planet Fitness

Thursday, September 21st, 2006

So I started working out recently with my co-worker at Planet Fitness and so far it’s quite nice. Inexpensive specially compared to the YMCA which is the other choice in the area. Seems like the people there have been nice and helpful, there’s nobody really intimidating that is working out there, and there’s always been enough machines to use. I even got to work my arms really hard by Abe’s (from Woodman’s Bar & Grill) instruction, hopefully I’ll be in shape before too long.

Sweet, biking with clipless pedals now

Tuesday, July 18th, 2006

I just went out for a sweet bike ride and swim in the Orono-Old Town area on my bike with the new Clipless Pedals and shoes on it now. I managed to fall over a few times since when i stop the first thing on my mind usually wasn’t twisting my feet out of the pedals. Oh well, only hurts a little now. Much better than normal pedals, no slipping my feet out.

My Projects

Friday, April 14th, 2006

There’s a few random projects I’ve worked on, and some that I actually got to a releasable state, but I haven’t had them anywhere on the site like I should. First up is “PvPGN Files”:/pages/pvpgn page I added to my links area for the couple projects of mine related to “PvPGN”:http://www.pvpgn.org. There you will find currently MacBNetGatewayEditor, a battle.net gateway editor for Mac OS X, and eventually the latest version of pvpgn-stats will be available there.

Soon I will hopefully add a projects sidebar which will link to couple others like my simple “Delicious Library”:http://delicious-monster.com/ translator program, that makes a simple web site of your Delicious Library contents. Rawr-jour is another app I made but now is in the “Growl”:http://growl.info project and so I won’t provide download links, probably just a link there.

Lack of Posts

Thursday, March 23rd, 2006

So I’ve been too busy or too lazy to post here lately. Been working hard on various web applications at “work”:http://www.rainstormconsulting.com and then just slacking and playing games or watching movies and TV shows when at home.

I saw V for Vendetta recently, I liked it quite a bit, probably would buy it on DVD when it comes out.

I’m also considering moving my blog to jeremyknope.com and making this domain something else, not sure what. Ideas? Debating starting my blog fresh to see if I can figure out “typo’s”:http://typosphere.org issue on “textdrive’s”:http://www.textdrive.com server. It doesn’t have the memory issues on my own computer so not sure what’s up.

Monday, February 13th, 2006

So I’m now definitely Zend Certified now that I got my framed certificate, seems kinda silly but kinda cool at the same time.

Unfair advantage… sorry ’bout that!

Wednesday, February 1st, 2006

So played way too much Halo 2 tonight, everybody I know was online or something, about 10 people all from UMaine, Steiners, etc. So we gamed up a lot and one of the games, I had an AWESOME game and just wanted to point it out since it was just insane.

See below… kills column… oooo sorry ’bout that… see stats for more pain like 20 head shots and 33 medals

Usually not the bragging type, just that was just an insane game, won’t happen again for sure.
